This is a 3-week Class that will meet 3 separate times on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30 pm for artists 6-12 (suggested ages)

September Session: Wednesday, September 10th, 17th, & 24th from 6-7:30pm

October Session: Wednesday, October 8th, 15th, & 22nd from 6-7:30

November Session: Wednesday, November 5th, 12th, & 19th from 6-7:30

*Please note that sessions are NOT the same and are different should artists want to take all 3 sessions or more than one. This class is similar in structure to those who have previously registered for Art Exploration and Artistic Explorers.

This 3-week class invites student artists ages 6–12 to dive into a creative journey across a variety of art mediums! Young artists will experiment with different materials and techniques, exploring painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics and more. Each week builds skills in observation, creativity, and self-expression, while also making connections to art history, science, and storytelling.

Students will be guided to develop their artistic abilities at their own level—whether building confidence with new materials or refining more advanced skills. This class is designed to spark creativity, encourage imagination, and help students create their own unique masterpieces in a fun and supportive environment.

Instruction is led by Lauren Shorr, a local artist, PA-Certified Art Educator, and CURIO Co-Owner. Lauren specializes in connecting with students, exploring exciting new materials, and building enthusiasm for creative self-expression. She also brings a strong background in painting and drawing techniques, observation-based art, and making meaningful connections to art history—all while encouraging students to think like artists.

Parents/Guardians are NOT expected to stay for this class—enjoy that hour of free time!
