Art Exploration is a 3-week creative adventure for young artists who love to try new things! Each week, artists will explore a different project, medium, or technique while building confidence, creativity, and artistic skills along the way.
From painting and drawing to sculpture, ceramics, and more, artists will experiment with new materials, make discoveries, and create artwork that is uniquely their own. Projects are designed to meet artists at their individual skill level, making this class a great fit for both beginning and experienced artists.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Explore a variety of art mediums and techniques
• Create a new project each week
• Build creativity, confidence, and artistic skills
• Make connections between art, science, storytelling, and the world around us
• Experiment, problem-solve, and think like an artist
• Create in a fun, encouraging environment where every artist can grow
PARENTS & GUARDIANS
This is an independent drop-off class, so parents and guardians do not need to stay! Drop off your artist, enjoy some time to yourself, and come back to see what they created.

PLEASE NOTE: Each 3-week session features different projects and creative experiences. Artists are welcome to register for multiple sessions without repeating the same class.

Instruction is led by Lauren Shorr, local artist, PA-Certified Art Educator, and CURIO Co-Owner.
CANCELLATION POLICY
All class tickets are nonrefundable. If your artist is unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer their spot to a friend or family member.
Due to limited seats, supplies, and instructor commitments, tickets cannot be transferred to another class.
Classes require a minimum of 4 artists to run. If CURIO must cancel a class, participants may choose to transfer to another available class, receive a CURIO digital gift card, or receive a refund.
We do our best to avoid cancellations and will always communicate with families as soon as possible if a change is necessary.
