Brush Buds is a four-week painting course designed for curious, motivated young artists ready to move beyond “just painting” and into real artistic technique. In this small-group class, students will build foundational painting skills while exploring their own creative voice.

Young painters will learn:

• How to properly blend and layer paint for depth and realism
  
  When and how to use drying agents and gels
  

• Techniques for creating expressive impasto textures
  

• Core color theory concepts and how artists use color intentionally
  

Each week combines hands-on studio practice with guided instruction, helping students develop confidence, technical skill, and a deeper understanding of how paintings are made.

This is art education—structured, inspiring, and fun.

• All tickets are nonrefundable, but you are welcome to transfer your spot to a friend or family member if your child cannot attend.

• Due to limited seats, supplies, and instructor commitments, we cannot transfer tickets into another class.

• Classes require a minimum of 4 sign-ups to run. In the unlikely event CURIO must cancel (including low enrollment), registered participants may:

  1. Move their ticket to another open or rescheduled class

  2. Receive a digital gift card

  3. Get a refund
