Artists will create a paint palette using low fire clay. This is a fun and exciting class that offers artists an opportunity to create hand-built pottery in a fun & educational setting.  These are not decorative items but fully functional upon firing. Think ahead and make this as a gift or the holiday season for the painter in your life! 

Art Objectives:

• Discover low fire clay using a hand-built method 

• Explore various pottery making tools and techniques 

• Extend your knowledge of sculpture and ceramics 

Creations will not be taken home on the day of class.  Our team will take over the responsibility of firing and glazing. A clear coat will be applied to ensure its usability. Participants will be notified when the piece has been fired and may return during regular retail hours to pick-up their piece. 

Cancellation Policy for those that are unable to attend: 

If you are unable to attend the class, your ticket for that class/event is nonrefundable. We are happy to have you transfer your ticket to a friend or family member to attend the class in your place. Unfortunately due to supplies, payment of instructors, and limited seats, we are not able to offer refunds or a transfer into another class. 

Cancellation Policy due to low enrollment of the class or instructor illness: 

To run our classes CURIO needs a minimum of 4 sign-ups. If CURIO should have to cancel the class for any reason including limited enrollment registered participants are able to:

1) Move their ticket to another open class or rescheduled class

2)  Receive a digital gift card

3)  Get a refund. We strive to avoid cancellations but promise a fair process in unforeseen circumstances should CURIO be the one canceling!
