Overview: This is a great gift idea! Join our Clay Ornament Making Workshop and unleash your creativity in the world of clay! This class is downstairs in our ceramics studio where you will be using wet clay to create your project! We welcome participants of all ages, making this a fantastic opportunity for individuals and families to come together and create their very own clay ornament. Keep it or give it as a gift! Whether you're a budding artist or simply looking to explore your artistic side, this class promises a fun and engaging experience with clay.

Class Highlights:

1. All Ages Welcome: This class is open to participants of all ages (suggested ages 6+). Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult throughout the duration of creating the project. It's an ideal activity for individuals, friends, families, and makes a great memory/ activity while you have visitors for the holidays!

2. Ornament Selection: Artists will have the freedom to choose between different ornament designs. From classic holiday-themed ornaments to unique, personalized creations, you can select the project that resonates with your artistic vision.

3. Instruction: Our experienced instructors will provide step-by-step guidance to help you bring your clay ornaments to life. They will assist you in understanding clay handling, shaping, and decorative techniques.

4. No Same-Day Firing: It's important to note that projects created in this class will not be fired on the same day. Clay requires a specific drying & firing process. You will be provided with instructions on when and how to collect your fired ornaments once they are ready.

What to Expect: During the class, you can expect a supportive and creative environment where you can explore your artistic talents and engage in hands-on learning. Whether you're interested in making a seasonal ornament for yourself or a personalized gift, you'll have the opportunity to create and discover clay!

Materials and Supplies: All necessary clay, tools, and equipment will be provided in the class. You'll just need to bring your enthusiasm and creativity.

Duration: The duration of the workshop will vary, but typically, you can expect it to last about an hour or more allowing ample time to create your ornaments and receive guidance from our instructors.

Registration: To secure your spot in this class, you MUST pre-register. Walk-ins may be accommodated if space is available, but pre-registration ensures your spot.

Cancellation Policy for those that are unable to attend: 

If you are unable to attend the class, your ticket for that class/event is nonrefundable. We are happy to have you transfer your ticket to a friend or family member to attend the class in your place. Unfortunately, due to supplies, payment of instructors, and limited seats, we are not able to offer refunds or a transfer into another class. 

Cancellation Policy due to low enrollment of the class or instructor illness: 

To run our classes CURIO needs a minimum of 4 sign-ups. If CURIO should have to cancel the class for any reason including limited enrollment registered participants are able to:

1) Move their ticket to another open class or rescheduled class

2)  Receive a digital gift card

3)  Get a refund. We strive to avoid cancellations but promise a fair process in unforeseen circumstances should CURIO be the one canceling!
