During this class, participants will have the unique opportunity to experience the thrill of working with a pottery wheel. Our experienced and friendly instructor will be there every step of the way, making sure everyone feels confident and excited to dive into the world of the pottery wheel. This class is not about creating a finished product to take home; rather, it's focused on exploration, experimentation, and learning. Each child will have the chance to try their hand at the pottery wheel, gaining valuable insight into the art of wheel throwing.
In this class, kids will:

Learn how the pottery wheel works.

Practice shaping and molding clay.

Get creative with basic pottery techniques.

Have fun experimenting with different forms.
At the end of the class, participants will NOT be taking home any physical creations. they will depart with newfound knowledge, skills, and perhaps a newfound passion for pottery. Who knows? This class may just be the spark that lifelong love for the art of ceramics! Come join us for a whirlwind of creativity and fun on the pottery wheel!
Parents are not expected to stay for this class. Please feel free to drop off and enjoy the hour of free time.
*Should your artist take this class multiple times and begin creating pieces that are able to be fired, we are happy to offer pricing and information on glazing and firing projects.

Cancellation Policy for those that are unable to attend:
If you are unable to attend the class, your ticket for that class/event is nonrefundable. We are happy to have you transfer your ticket to a friend or family member to attend the class in your place. Unfortunately, due to supplies, payment of instructors, and limited seats, we are not able to offer refunds or a transfer into another class.

To run our classes CURIO needs a minimum of 4 sign-ups. If CURIO should have to cancel the class for any reason including limited enrollment registered participants are able to:
1) Move their ticket to another open class or rescheduled class
2) Receive a digital gift card
3) Get a refund. We strive to avoid cancellations but promise a fair process in unforeseen circumstances should CURIO be the one canceling!
