This whimsical ceramics class is perfect for ages 10 to adults! IF Your artist is younger and would like to participate we ask that you please stay with your artist throughout the duration of class and welcome you to work alongside them and create the piece together. This is a great summer project that you can create for yourself or make as a gift! In this workshop, our instructor will guide you through the fundamental techniques of handbuilding. These techniques will be used to create various sized bowls/pinch pots that will then be fired and assembled to create a fish inspired wind chime.
Creations will not be taken home on the day of class. Our team will work with you to see what options of firing and glazing you perfer to give your piece the exact look you want. Projects will take about 3 weeks to dry, fire, and get back to the artists. Participants will be notified when the piece has been fired and may return during regular retail hours to pick-up their piece.

OUR CLAY CAVE IS LOCATED IN THE BASEMENT YOU WILL NEED TO BE ABLE TO WALK UP AND DOWN STEPS TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CLASS!
If you are unable to attend the class, your ticket for that class/event is nonrefundable. We are happy to have you transfer your ticket to a friend or family member to attend the class in your place. Unfortunately due to supplies, payment of instructors, and limited seats, we are not able to offer refunds or a transfer into another class.
To run our classes CURIO needs a minimum of 4 sign-ups. If CURIO should have to cancel the class for any reason registered participants are able to:
1) Move their ticket to another open class or rescheduled class, 2) Receive a digital gift card, or 3) Get a refund. We strive to avoid cancellations but promise a fair process in unforeseen circumstances should CURIO be the one canceling!
